The European Pub Quiz arrived in Bar. A great atmosphere and a competitive spirit transformed the l’Abruzzo restaurant into a place where knowledge and fun blend perfectly. Eleven teams took part in this popular event, thus proving that questions about the European Union and general knowledge are easy to answer when tackled through teamwork.

Participants, organised into teams of up to five members, had the opportunity to test their knowledge through topics related to the European Union, its values, and the process of European integration. After an exciting and closely fought competition, the winning team, “Bad Timing”, was announced.

One of the team members, Damir Duraković, emphasised that his team had fought fiercely right until the end, but that, as he put it, fine margins ultimately made the difference.
“Everything was well organised. I came to have fun, and in the end, the victory came as well. The European Pub Quiz is great for everyone from 7 to 77 who wants to have fun and show their knowledge,” Duraković pointed out.

In addition to prizes for the top-ranked team, valuable prizes were also awarded to randomly selected teams that finished in the middle and at the bottom of the scoreboard: “Zmaj Ognjeni Vuk” and “Snupi”. This further highlighted the message that socialising, participation, and good energy are just as important as the final result.

The European Pub Quiz in Bar was organised by the Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, through the EU4ME and Europe House projects, in cooperation with the quiz author, Zoran Miljanić.

Following quizzes in Podgorica, Nikšić and Bar, the European Pub Quiz will continue its journey in 2026, with new gatherings planned in Budva, Berane and Bijelo Polje.
