Erasmus+ Programme presented at Europe House Bar

Young people shared their experiences and encouraged their peers to make the most of European opportunities

At the Europe House in Bar, the Erasmus+ programme was presented. The event aimed to bring young people closer to the opportunities offered by the European Union in education, personal development, and professional advancement. Pupils, students, teachers, and representatives of relevant institutions gathered to discuss important topics. Particular emphasis was placed on the personal experiences of participants who had already taken part in Erasmus+ mobility.

During the discussion, it was highlighted that international exchanges open doors to new knowledge, cultures, and professional opportunities, and that they are now more accessible than ever.

Young European Ambassador Emina Balota underlined the importance of involving young people in EU programmes:
“Erasmus+ opportunities are essential for personal and professional development. They change perspectives and provide experiences that considerably influence one’s future career.”

Rina Muhaj, a representative of the National Erasmus+ Office in Montenegro, encouraged young people to apply regardless of their grade point average:

“The right time to apply is now. You do not need to be the best student – what truly matters is the motivation, dedication, and the desire to improve.”

Student Iva Zgradić also shared her experiences, having taken part in exchanges in Ljubljana and Turkey:
“At first, I was sceptical, but when I joined the Master’s programme, I realised the value of mobility. With the support of my home faculty, all obligations and challenges became much easier.”

Pupil Marija Vuksanović, a participant in a pilot project in Bologna, also shared her experience with the programme:

“I applied my knowledge of economics in a real environment, worked on practical tasks, and met peers from all over the world. The experience broadened my horizons.”

The event at Europe House Bar once again confirmed that Erasmus+ is one of the most important platforms for the development of young people in Montenegro, offering them opportunities to learn, travel, collaborate, and create new perspectives for the future.
