As of today, the public call for registration of participants for the VI edition of the international EYC Educo Camp, which will gather more than 35 young people from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia, has been officially opened in the period from August 12 to 14, 2026, in the Recreational and Educational Center “Lovćen” on Ivan’s Korite.
The event is intended for young people aged 18 to 25 who want to, through interactive workshops, focus groups, lectures by experienced professionals and numerous outdoor activities, improve their knowledge and skills, exchange experiences with peers from the region and spend three days learning, socializing and connecting.
This year’s camp is implemented under the slogan: Future Ready: Skills, opportunities and participation of young people in a changing world , and the program is designed to provide young people with space for the development of practical skills, active participation in the community, better understanding of contemporary social and technological changes, as well as connecting with peers from the countries of the region.
What awaits the participants at the Camp?
During the two program days, participants will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and practical skills through a rich and interactive program in the field of youth participation, leadership, career development, artificial intelligence, digital literacy, financial independence, youth work, teamwork and the development of the European Youth Card from the perspective of young people.
On the first day, a panel discussion will be organized under the title “From local community to national policies: Who creates opportunities for young people?” , with the aim of discussing how to create better opportunities for young people in their local communities and how local and national levels can jointly contribute to a more balanced development of youth policies and services in Montenegro. The panel will gather representatives of relevant institutions, local level and youth activists.
A special part of the program will be dedicated to the Future EYC Lab, an interactive focus group through which the participants together with the EYC team will discuss what their ideal European Youth Card (EYC) looks like, what benefits, services and opportunities they expect from this program and how the card can even better respond to the needs of young people in Montenegro and the region.
Participants can expect interesting workshops and dialogues on the responsible and safe use of artificial intelligence, digital skills and online space, planning personal finances, recognizing one’s own potential and planning a career path, as well as sessions on youth leadership and the role of youth work in the society of the future.
Practical outdoor activities, sports and social games, team challenges and evening get-togethers will also be organized, and the Camp will end with a ceremonial awarding of certificates to the participants.
Ko može da se prijavi?
Pozivaju se mladi uzrasta od 18 do 25 godina, koji:
– dolaze iz Crne Gore ili Bosne i Hercegovine, Sjeverne Makedonije, Srbije, Slovenije i Hrvatske;
– mogu da se sporazumiju na crnogorskom, odnosno srpskom, bosanskom ili hrvatskom jeziku;
– žele da razvijaju vještine, znanja i poznanstva koja im mogu pomoći u ličnom, obrazovnom i profesionalnom razvoju;
– žele da aktivno učestvuju u svojim zajednicama i procesima donošenja odluka;
– interesuju ih teme kao što su omladinska participacija, digitalne vještine, vještačka inteligencija, karijerni razvoj, finansijska pismenost, liderstvo, mobilnost i regionalna saradnja;
– dolaze iz različitih društvenih i geografskih sredina.
Posebno se ohrabruje učešće mladih iz ruralnih, manje razvijenih, marginalizovanih i manje zastupljenih sredina.
