In Europe House Bar, an educational workshop was held within the framework of the project “Empowered Women – The Foundation of a Safe Community”. The International Police Organisation of Montenegro organised the workshop in cooperation with the Municipality of Bar, Europe House Bar, professors Mirjana Savićević and Ivana Kecojević, and the students of the Secondary School of Economics and Hospitality in Bar.
During the introductory part, we reflected on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. We reminded ourselves that empowering women—through education, equality and support—is key to building a safe and healthy community in which violence has no place.

Peer educators Anđela Zindović and Sara Pepđonović spoke about the importance of education in empowering women. The aim of the workshop was to encourage girls to build a positive self-image and develop the capacities to become active, confident and independent young women. Nikolina Rabrenović and Dalila Topuzović spoke about communication and assertiveness skills, critical thinking regarding gender stereotypes, as well as emotional literacy and recognising healthy and unhealthy relationships. The workshop showcased interactive activities, discussions, and practical examples.
