The MontEDIH SME Day was held at Europe House Bijelo Polje, bringing together representatives of the business community to explore opportunities for the digital and green transformation of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
During the opening session, the project partners presented the various support services available to businesses and public institutions.
Tanja Radusinović, representing the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, provided a comprehensive overview of the wide range of services offered by the Chamber through the hub. She placed particular emphasis on the concierge service, a personalised support system that includes an analysis of current business operations, direct access to technology experts, guidance towards innovative tools and technologies, and assistance with the implementation of digital and green strategies tailored to each company’s needs.
Milena Ljutica, representing the Institute of Modern Technologies of Montenegro, presented the Institute’s areas of expertise and the results achieved to date through the MontEDIH project. She also highlighted the broad portfolio of services available, ranging from the use of artificial intelligence tools in improving productivity and data analysis to advanced technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) solutions.
Nina Perunović, representing the Centre for Finance, presented the results achieved through activities implemented within the MontEDIH project, including expert support in identifying appropriate funding opportunities for business growth and development, AI-based financial readiness self-assessments, workshops on available grant schemes aimed at enhancing SME competitiveness, consultations on financing opportunities through the funds of the European Union, and support in the preparation of business plans.
Following the presentations, participants took part in a practical workshop led by Nada Rakočević, Secretary of the ICT Association Committee at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro. During the workshop, participants were introduced to practical tools and solutions for digital transformation.
The event concluded with an informal networking session, during which business representatives held one-to-one consultations with MontEDIH experts to discuss the specific needs and development potential of their companies.
