Competitive spirit, laughter, and team energy marked the European pub quiz in Bijelo Polje, where teams competed through dynamic rounds that tested their knowledge and resourcefulness. The quiz brought together participants of different generations, who jointly answered questions about the European Union, its member states, culture, history, and various interesting facts.
Among 11 teams, the most successful was Team “Evropejci.” Prizes were also awarded to mid-table teams “Bjelasičari,” and the bottom-ranked team “Ekonomisti II-3,” confirming that fun and team spirit were the main focus.
Participants emphasised that the quiz brought a refreshing addition to the local events scene and an opportunity to test knowledge in a different, entertaining way.
“The quiz was excellent—we really liked it, it was interesting and enjoyable. This is our first time taking part in this type of quiz. I would recommend everyone to sign up, considering that we have participants ranging from secondary school students to slightly older people. Everyone should apply, because it’s very engaging,” said participant Helena Fatić.
A positive atmosphere was one of the main impressions among other competitors as well.
“We came without high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is fantastic, and events like this are a real refreshment for Bijelo Polje. Well done to the organisers,” said participant Ajan Mucević, adding that he would recommend this type of event to everyone “if for no other reason, then at least for good fun and a break from everyday life.”
Similar impressions were shared by other participants, who noted that more events like this are needed to enrich the city’s social life.
The quiz is organised by the Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, through the EU4ME and Europe House projects, in cooperation with quiz author Zoran Miljanić. European Pub Quiz aims to bring topics related to the European Union closer to citizens in an accessible and engaging way.
So far, the quiz has been held in Podgorica, Nikšić, Bar, and Bijelo Polje, and the citizens of Berane will also have the opportunity to test their knowledge and have fun.
