Europe House Bijelo Polje brought together representatives of local governments, civil society organisations, educational institutions and the media from municipalities across northern Montenegro as part of a Networking and Brainstorming Workshop organised in cooperation with the Damar Institute.
“Through an interactive approach and open dialogue, today’s workshop aims to enable participants to identify the needs of local communities and opportunities for cooperation for the benefit of all citizens, so that we can work together to advance the development of northern Montenegro. Europe House is open to all municipalities in the north, and today’s gathering will provide an excellent opportunity to establish communication and further strengthen cooperation,” said Vasilija Furtula, event organiser at Europe House, in a statement to Radio Bijelo Polje.

Furtula expressed her satisfaction with the strong turnout and the participation of representatives from almost all municipalities in northern Montenegro.
On behalf of the Damar Institute, workshop facilitator Hakile Resulbegović stated that the purpose of the event was to create new partnerships.

“The workshop has been designed as a brainstorming and design thinking session, with design thinking being a creative method for problem-solving. Our goal is to connect northern Montenegro with Europe House Bijelo Polje and to create a space for the development of new ideas. I expect everyone to participate actively and share their honest views,” said Resulbegović.
