Super Stella truly exists!
She’s more than a comic book character—she’s a symbol of hope and love.
Super Stella 2 comic book follows our superheroine as she embarks on a magical journey across the European Union, promoting values such as unity, solidarity, cultural diversity and environmental awareness.
Created by the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro through the Europe House project and in collaboration with the embassies of EU Member States, this beautifully illustrated comic aims to connect young audiences with the spirit of Europe.
It was launched at the event celebrating Europe House’s 3rd birthday.
During the event, the children were among the first to receive a copy and to meet the comic artist Ilija Nikčević, who, through his illustrations, brought Super Stella’s new adventures to life.
“The adventure of Super Stella, Tara and the Owl is wonderful and magical. My task of portraying it through drawings was a real adventure, too. It’s a privilege to be part of her Super Team,” Ilija emphasised.
The Super Stella comic book is designed to bring the European Union closer to children by presenting interesting and educational facts about each Member State through a fun and engaging narrative. It showcases fascinating elements of European culture, history, science, geography and art, making learning both entertaining and inspiring for young readers.
The first part of the comic book leads us into an environmental battle. Super Stella fought the drought, pollution and deforestation. Check out the Super Stella 1 comic book.
In the new instalment, we follow our fearless heroine, Super Stella, on a stardust-powered adventure through the EU. Accompanied by Tara, a curious young girl, and Owl, a wise and sometimes comically self-important companion, she travels from country to country, meeting artists, philosophers, inventors, scientists – and even Santa Claus in Finnish Lapland!
Through this journey, we learn that the EU is a vibrant mosaic of nations, languages and stories.
We are all different, yet united – and together, we are Team Europe!
