To mark World Mental Health Day, Europe House is organising a series of free communication skills workshops which will be held from 10 to 24 October 2025. The workshops will take place at Europe House in Podgorica, with the first one scheduled for 10 October. The remaining workshops are planned for 16 and 23 October, in line with the rhythm of the programme ČEK – Thursday at Europe House, recognised for addressing themes that support personal growth and community wellbeing.
The programme consists of three interactive workshops dedicated to strengthening communication skills in challenging and emotionally demanding situations. Participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of communication and assertiveness, master techniques such as “I-messages” and active listening, and develop the ability to set boundaries and say “no” without feeling guilty.

The workshops will be led by psychologist and psychotherapist Milena Žujović, founder of the Psychological Centre Psihosfera, who has extensive experience applying the principles of transactional analysis in both individual and group settings. The programme combines a theoretical framework with practical exercises, including role-plays, guided discussions, and reflective activities that encourage active learning and personal growth.
The workshops aim to help participants learn how to express their own needs and emotions clearly and calmly, build healthier relationships through better listening and understanding, and gain self-confidence in communication. In a safe and supportive environment, the exchange of experiences and collective learning will be encouraged.
Each workshop starts at 18:00 and lasts 150 minutes. Participation is free and open to all interested citizens. The number of places is limited; therefore, registration is required.
Thursdays at Europe House are an opportunity to develop communication skills that strengthen relationships and promote mental health.
