Adem (Deni) Beriša is a young Roma entrepreneur from Podgorica who has successfully built a career in trade. From an early age, he was involved in the family business, with trading representing a tradition in his family spanning more than 30 years.
He entered entrepreneurship out of a desire to create something of his own.
“I saw an opportunity and decided to try, even though it was not easy at the beginning,” Beriša recalls.

Today, Adem is the owner of the clothing boutiques “Kićo Italija” in a shopping centre in Podgorica (Unit No. 7) and “Senzo Rivoli” in the city centre, while his shops can also be found at various locations across Montenegro.
To young Roma people considering starting their own business, this young entrepreneur sends a clear message: we create our own future.
“Let us show our worth and that we can succeed like everyone else,” Beriša concluded.
