The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro is responsible for analysing and reporting on political, economic and trade developments, for implementing and managing an EU financial assistance portfolio and improving visi bility and communication of the EU in Montenegro.
The mission of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) is to take forward the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policies, as well as coordination relations wight EEA-EFTA countries insofar as Commission policies are concerned.

The Erasmus+ programme aims to boost skills and employability, as well as modernising Education, Training, and Youth work. The seven year Programme will have a budget of €14.7 billion, a 40% increase compared to current spending levels, reflecting the EU’s commitment to investing in these areas.
