By pooling resources, the European Union (EU) assists state institutions at all levels. The EU supports Montenegro through various programs and projects aimed at strengthening institutions, improving democratic processes, enhancing the judiciary system, combating corruption, encouraging economic sustainability, and implementing reforms.

Within the EU’s assistance to Montenegrin institutions, we distinguish projects that strengthen the capacity of local self-governments, support public finance management, strengthen judicial institutions, and many others.
