Online tournament Human Rights in the Palm of your Hand has started

The European Union in Montenegro and the non-governmental organization Civic Alliance, in cooperation with partners, created an online game show Human Rights in the Palm of Your Hand on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day, which is celebrated on December 10. The game show is intended for high school students, who will compete as a team in the form of an online tournament that starts tomorrow and shall last until December 10, when the three best teams will be announced.

The aim of this online game show is to introduce young people to the concept of human rights, the persons who have made a significant contribution to their greater respect, as well as to the work of important institutions in this area. Members of the top three teams will be rewarded with valuable vouchers for purchasing laptops, tablets or phones.

The competition is a part of the overall programme of marking the International Human Rights Day, in which, in addition to the Civic Alliance, the EU Delegation to Montenegro and the EU Info Centre, also the Ombudsman and the Council of Europe are participating. Other partners also helped them prepare the questions: Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro, Center for Protection and Research of Birds, Association for Democratic Prosperity – ZID, Forum Progress, Youth and Non-Formal Education Forum (Forum MNE), RYCO, Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information of Montenegro, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, NGO Phiren Amenca , Youth Initiative for Human Rights, Association of Judges, Union of Free Trade Unions of Montenegro, Union of the Blind of Montenegro, 35 MM, Montenegrin Pan-European Union and Young European Ambassadors.

From December 14, the game show will open to the general public

In order to mark the whole of December as a month of human rights, we have decided that the game show Human Rights in the Palm of Your Hand will be available to the general public from December 14 to 28. All interested citizens of Montenegro, who want to test their knowledge in this area and win valuable prizes, will then have the right to participate.
